Prestigious residential building
The mandate was to present a new concept for the lobby, elevator hall and common corridors for the prestigious Sir Robert Peel Building.
To enliven the common areas, my concept aims to achieve style, comfort and harmony using a mix of new materials like Dekton, new LED lighting systems and new furniture, while retaining the beautiful original existing woodwork on the walls.
An innovative treatment of the wall consists of the installation of vertical Elements of Dekton and backlit wooden slats to create a cozy atmosphere in the reception area.
The proposal to install a fireplace in the lobby will create the focal point for each visitor and resident. It has been designed from floor to ceiling and fits perfectly with the original marble floor.
Several seating areas furnished with Barcelona chairs and sofas will be used to create inviting and intimate corners allowing different levels of conversation.
What makes the lobby unique is the choice of the new concept of the custom-made Ameba lamp.
On the wall facing the elevators doors, the same treatment used on the back wall of the reception will bring glamour to the corridors and create a visual continuity to the concept.
Once out of the elevator, on each floor, the wool carpet, natural fiber wallpaper and luxurious materials are customized for a distinct design.
The new concept will bring a sophisticated view to this prestigious building and will represent a harmonious visual change adding significant value for the owners.
